Introduction

The true purpose of education is to teach people the purpose of their lives here on earth. This purpose is to use the creatures that enter their lives as a means of reaching their eternal destiny in the life to come. That destiny is nothing less than entering heaven and possessing God in the perfect satisfaction of all human desires.

What are the soul purposes of education

Education could be seen as wings for the progress of the human being. It helps the individual to attain intellectual, physical and spiritual or emotional progress. In some ways, it helps the individual to live a happier life. For people without education, living comfortably turns difficult, especially in the modern world where specific skills are often needed to work. Besides, education is real wealth. Understanding how the world around us functions produces happiness, a kind of happiness that does not disappear. True education dignifies the individual. As we are human being (the best creation of the God) and education helps us to prove this statement properly in different ways. Our bodies are controlled by the mind. So mastering economics should not be as difficult with this thought in mind. This body takes in and eliminates what is wasteful. Therefore, this body is economics and since I am the master of this body, I can master economics.
It’s imperative to teach people about themselves, their history, their bodies and their nature so that they can become self-masters. Mastery of self is the key to mastery of all disciplines because in some way every discipline is present within us.
Once we have a mastery of self-knowledge, it’s important to be taught the true history of the other people who make up this country. This promotes mutual respect for the members of the human family, lending to a peaceful and productive society.

As opposed to today’s “sole purpose of education” – to learn HOW to “talk rot” and then make millions, if not billions, swindling your neighbor, community, and country.

What are the important purposes of education

Education makes everyone capable to read, write, listen and speak properly through giving the means of ways of learning. What is the purpose of education? This question agitates scholars, teachers, statesmen, every group, in fact, of thoughtful men and women. The conventional answer is the acquisition of knowledge, the reading of books, and the learning of facts. Perhaps because there are so many books and the branches of knowledge in which we can learn facts are so multitudinous today, we begin to hear more frequently that the function of education is to give children a desire to learn and to teach them how to use their minds and where to go to acquire facts when their curiosity is aroused. Even more all-embracing than this is the statement made not long ago, before a group of English headmasters, by the Archbishop of York, that "the true purpose of education is to produce citizens. Education does not give just only ways of learning it give everyone equal opportunity as a means to succeed in life through knowledge and skill, all individuals can achieve greatness. In addition, common values such as punctuality, following rules, cooperation, learning to work and get along together as well as a sense of responsibility are all-important factors of education. The combination of knowledge and skills as well as the common values will help our young students bloom into adults and become responsible and productive citizens.

Education makes us social and peaceful

True learning makes everyone equal develop and civilized Every human being requires a knowledge of self as part of the proper cultivation of the divinity that is in them. Additionally, and if we hope to live together in peace with others in the society, we must know something of the cultures that make up this so-called melting pot. Then, once we have a mastery of self-knowledge, it’s important to be taught the true history of the other people who make up this country. This promotes mutual respect for the members of the human family, lending to a peaceful and productive society. Education not only creates a better human being but also contributes to the transformation of society. We are summoned to take forward our community, village, city, State, world. But to get that we need tools. The tools to improve the world are not fighting ideologies, or weapons –as many have tried thorough history- but knowledge, sciences, arts. Those tools empower the people who sincerely want to see a more just world. Further more, the paradox that we find our selves happy when we forget our own self and focus on the wellbeing of other is true. Working to improve the society through the tools education provides, helps us to develop our own capacities, and brings us peace and tranquility, although that is not the motive. As education improves one’s morality, humanity, manner, personality and character so no one can makes any disorder such as (eve teasing, terrorism etc) in society. Today we find many internal problems --- corruption, injustice, oppression, and crippling poverty --- everywhere we turn in the Muslim world. If we think about it, we may realize that most of these problems are man-made. Which is another way of saying that they are largely traceable, directly or indirectly, to the education system that produced the people who perpetuate the problems. Now to overcome these problems we have to change our morality and mentality. Most of the cases we have to taught religious study as much as possible.

Education helps one to self- improvement.

Education must also train one for quick, resolute and effective thinking. To think incisively and to think for one's self is very difficult. We are prone to let our mental life become invaded by legions of half-truths, prejudices, and propaganda. At this point, I often wonder whether or not education is fulfilling its purpose. A great majority of the so-called educated people does not think logically and scientifically. Even the press, the classroom, the platform, and the pulpit in many instances do not give us objective and unbiased truths. To save man from the morass of propaganda, in my opinion, is one of the chief aims of education. Education must enable one to sift and weigh evidence, to discern the true from the false, the real from the unreal, and the facts from the fiction. We must remember that intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus character--that is the goal of true education. The complete education gives one not only power of concentration, but worthy objectives upon which to concentrate. The broad education will, therefore, transmit to one not only the accumulated knowledge of the race but also the accumulated experience of social living. Moreover, education is only one of the best way to prove us as the best creation of the GOD.

Education helps to be good citizen

We are human beings we are social. An educated person must get touch with public census and can develop one’s personal social and national as well as international life because than they know what the conditions of social is and what it be for a proper society. If any society is ideal that can an ideal for a country, and an educated person can teach their society’s people morally. Moreover education improves knowledge of moral practices and ethical standards acceptable by society culture that improves to be a national leader, because with the help of education, one can easily understand country’s economic, social, political, legal condition and teaches to improve those conditions properly. Therefore we can bring peace and clam in a society and can remove all illegal practices such as Eve-teaching an, terrorism, sexual harassment, etc. If a society a nation must be improved because it is a part of a nation. Therefore a nation can be symbol for the world. Moreover, education cans improver brotherhood among nations instant of war among countries.

True education helps to evaluate the Creator properly

True and proper education starts with the knowledge of God. And yet God is taken out of the educational institutions. It is ridiculous that the school day does not begin with prayer. God is the author of all knowledge, so why should He be taken out of the institutions?

Recognition of God is the proper beginning point for understanding every discipline. If we cannot honor God, the Supreme Teacher, then how can the children honor their teachers? We have this thing all backwards. You don’t pledge your allegiance to a flag, which is merely the symbol of a nation. You pledge allegiance to God, and you work for your flag and country.

A while ago I coined the phrase, "he who gives the diameter of your knowledge prescribes the circumference of your activity." If you gain a limited knowledge then you restrict the possibilities of what you can and will achieve. The capacity of man’s brain is infinite. Therefore, the greater one’s knowledge grows, the greater becomes one’s sphere of activity until it encompasses and reflects mastery of self and mastery of the universe.

The knowledge of God is infinite. I would argue that leaving God out of our schools limits our education and confines the scope of what we are equipped to do and achieve.

Conclusion

Education is supposed to be the proper cultivation of the gifts and talents of the individual through the acquisition of knowledge. Knowledge satisfies our natural thirst for gaining that which will make us one with our Maker. So true education cultivates the person - mind, body and spirit - by bringing us closer to fulfilling our purpose for being, which is to reflect Allah (God).
